We’re looking for energetic talent! Bring Halloween to life as pirates, skeletons, and mermaids take over the Aquarium and Rio Tinto Kennecott Plaza. This year, Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is offering exciting opportunities to apply to participate in our Halloween on the High Seas event.
Once performers/applicants have completed the application process, they will be contacted via email by Wednesday, August 11, 2021 with a confirmed audition time as well as instructions on what to prepare, wear, and bring to the audition.

Information for Actor Participation
The Loveland Living Planet in Draper, Utah is pleased to announce auditions for the new October event, “Halloween on the High Seas”. This is a family-friendly evening event, and we are seeking performers to engage our guests to make their experiences more memorable, while wearing elaborate costumes and makeup, and bringing our characters to life. All performers should perform with animated stage presence and have solid improvisational skills.
We are looking for all ethnicities to play the roles. For this production we will not be able to offer any AEA contracts.
Auditions will be held on August 12 and 13, 2021. Please complete the application online and attach your resume and headshot. All applicants will be notified via email of their confirmed audition time.
- Must be available for nighttime and weekend shifts.
- All costumes will be provided by the Aquarium.
- A background in gymnastics/tumbling/dancing is helpful.
- You must be at least 18 years old at the time of the audition.
- Please wear form fitting dance attire that allows a full range of movement.
- Upload a resume and headshot in the application.
- All performances are outside. Breaks will be provided in a temperature controlled greenroom.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate (depending on the character): $11.00
There will be no call backs for this production. All applicants will be notified via email on or before Friday, August 27, 2021 of the final cast list and scheduled shifts. Call time for every performance night will be 6:30 p.m.
