Jewell Martinez

Males and Females 18+

Director and Assistant Director Kurtis Haynes and Jewell Martinez are pleased to announce our upcoming show. A GOLDEN FLEECING or: the Undermining of Sarah Sweetflowers!
Auditions will be held this coming Thursday, July 1st at 7 p.m. at Westview Baptist Church, 1325 S. Meridian. Auditions will begin with a cold reading followed by two improv games, since being in a melodrama allows for a lot of improvisation!
“Sarah Sweetflower has inherited Cactus Bob’s Saloon in the ghost town of Elbow’s Bend. It is here that she plans to open Sarah Sweetflower’s Sarsaparilla Saloon and Bridal Shoppe with the help of our hero, Stanley Stoutheart. But the villainous Sly Scavenger and his accomplice, Miss Twinkle Toes, are more interested in Cactus Bob’s lost gold mine. With the help of a professional gunfighter, Big Bad Granny, they attempt to do away with Sarah, only to be foiled by the town’s only permanent resident, Tumbleweed, who doubles as both the town judge and constable.” – Pioneer Drama Service Site
Rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday in July from 7-9 p.m. and Saturdays at the cast’s discretion. Please come prepared with a list of conflicts.
Shows will be held at the Empire House Theatre in Old Cowtown Museum, August 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. with matinees at 2 p.m. on both Saturdays.
We’d love to see everyone there! It is going to be a great show with lots of opportunities for creativity, interaction with the audience and FUN!
