CASTING CALL: “DAYDREAMER”
Five roles are being cast this week for my upcoming indie feature, a psychological horror film about a young man dealing with the regret of an irreversible mistake which killed two people. All shoots are in San Diego, non-union, pay is $100 for a half day.
IRENE: non-dialogue extra role. A drug addict whom two characters meet at a party in order to get some cocaine. Has an emotional breakdown and cries. Character age 20-25. Filming on 3.23.22 ~6pm-10pm.
SONDRA HERRERA: the daughter of David Montalvo, who was killed in a drunk driving accident. However, Sondra feels responsible for his death because she allowed her father to drive despite his deteriorating vision. She agrees to meet with the driver responsible for the crash, Jason Sandoval, in order to hear his apology. Latina woman, character age 40-50s. Filming on 3.22.22 ~11am-3pm.
ROMAN HERRERA: the grandson of David Montalvo. Gets in an altercation with Jason, during his first attempt to contact the family. Latino man, character age 20-25. ~6 foot height a bonus in order to match our actor for Jason. Filming on 3.31.22 ~11am-3pm.
MARION REEVES: a woman who runs a Facebook page dedicated to holding Jason accountable. Jason’s mother Jeanine confronts Marion outside her home and demands that she take down the page. White woman, character age 35-50s. Filming on 3.31.22 ~6-10pm.
ROGER: a young man who works at a political consulting firm. Part of a secret plot to murder his boss, Russell Sandoval, and his son Jason, due to their role in subverting justice and escaping legal consequences for a crime Jason committed. Character age 25-30. Interested in filming 4.11.22 ~2-8pm. A second shoot date will be scheduled later in April or early May.
