CASTING CALL FOR THIS SATURDAY
This is the TRAILER to “Thursday the 12th,” a horror comedy starring such names as Todd Bridges (Different Strokes), Jena Sims (Last Vegas), Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks), and myself (Minor League).
We are shooting a Spoof Horror Trailer/Teaser called “American Cheer Camp Massacre” which will appear with this film during it’s limited theatrical release this summer. The movie is playing nationally is numerous theaters in over a dozen states.
The casting call is THIS SATURDAY in PORT CHARLOTTE, FLORIDA. It begins at 6:30 PM following an Acting Workshop I’m teaching that day at the same location. (These are NOT related events, no one needs to attend the workshop to attend the casting call. Just using the same date/location to save money. I’m a Line Producer as well. lol)
We are seeking FIVE (5) women to portray our ensemble lead “Cheerleaders.” They should be 18 to early 20’s and able to portray a late HS/Early College student.
We are also casting 1 Male, 55+ to play a Creepy Old Man. The cliche typical ones you see in most horror movie/slashers who give good advice that everyone ignores.
Our 5 Cheerleaders are not just ensemble leads for this spoof, but we are seeking to cast Scream Queen potential actors as we intend to potentially use at least 2-3 of them in a number of other movies as part of our own Marvel/Viewaskew style universe we are building.
Thursday the 12th is like Evil Dead meets Mallrats while American Cheer Camp Massacre is American Pie Band Camp meets Slumber Party Massacre.
Filming is currently slated for Southwest Florida to begin as early as May 22nd but may not start until the following week. We are considering turning ACCM into a stand alone feature.
All roles are compensated. Lodging is provided if needed during production. Food and of course credit is included as well.
