Casting Call – Nonprofit promo/commercial
Project Description: 2.5 minute promo about a local nonprofit artfully explaining how we serve our community and can help with so many of life’s unexpected crisis and transitions. Actors will be asked to represent emotions including concern, worried, anxiety, hope, and healing.
Shooting Location: Depending on the role, one of three places in Far North Dallas (Arapaho/Tollway area)
Date: Friday, March 20th OR Sunday, March 22 (for est. 2 hrs)
School Based – caucasian/brown hair man & woman couple (late 30s/early 40s) (on screen)
Food Pantry – woman ~40s with child 10 or younger (both on screen, mom voice over)
Grief Counseling – Parent (double up from one of the other sections) to daughter young adult (16-18 year old) (on screen)
Child Play Therapy – 6-8 yr old kid (voice over) talking to mom (late 30s/early 40s) (on screen)
Older Adults – Adult child (voice over/can double up with another on screen) talking to senior citizen “parent” – 75+ year old woman (on screen)
Priya – caucasian/brown hair man & woman couple in late 20s (on screen)
Family Violence – Two women in 30s-40s (different ethnicities (on screen).
Mental Health Services – Man over the phone (voice over) to 40/50 year old man (on screen) (one actor can do both)
Addiction Intervention – Mom/Dad, (60s) (off screen/voice over) to 30 year old man (on screen)
Career Services – male (voice over) to male 50+ (on screen)
