Miscreant Theatre Collective

weird talent

Do you have a weird talent that the world needs to see!? Do you have a banger in your back pocket, or moves like Jagger!? Are you an amazing stand up, or an unbelievable acrobat!? Are you skilled with illusions, or a master of contortionism? Can you spit milk out of your nose and hit a target 10 feet away?

Whatever your ability, Miscreant Theatre Collective wants you for our First Ever, Third Annual MTC Easter Egg Hunt and Talent Competition! The festivities take place at Grandma’s House on April 11th! It will be an evening of music, comedy, charity, easter eggs, entertainment, and maybe even nose-milk-spitting!

Throughout the evening, the crowd will cast votes for their favorite acts. A cash prize will be awarded to the top two acts, with other awards and prizes offered for runner-ups!

This is a fund-raising event for MTC’s spring performance of The Pillowman, by Martin McDonaugh, opening this May. Additionally, a portion of all proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Blue Bench, a wonderful charity that provides assistance and services to victims and survivors of sexual abuse in the Denver area.

To reserve a time slot for your performance, please submit a brief description of your act, a photo and/or video of yourself or group, as well as any social media links to [email protected] under the heading “MTC Talent Competition Submission.”

The fine print: submission deadline–April 1st, 2020. All acts are limited to 5 minutes. Priority will be given to unique and offbeat performers. Submissions will be cut off when our roster is full, so submit early to ensure your slot!
