Seeking male actor late 30s-early 50s.
This is a sports mockumentary in the style of films like ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Spinal Tap,’ etc.
Auditioning for the role of Michael Sullivan, the host/interviewer of a mediocre sports show. Think Dateline meets ESPN’s 30 for 30.
He is a bit arrogant but also insecure about where his career has ended up. Most of the film is him interviewing a certain duo of a certain sport. The banter between him and one of the “athletes” is key.
You will most likely carry the film.
While none of this film is intended to offend, there are parts that could be found offensive to some so please be comfortable with that possibility. At its core, it is meant to be silly and irreverent and I believe we will have one hell of a good time.
Filming would be a few days in April and a few days in May/June.
