WILLIAM: 25 to 40 years old, all ethnicities male-identifying. An arrogant yet neurotic first-time murderer, so close to getting away with it. Desperate to show he’s not mad and take credit for a genius plan to get revenge. Not driven by his conscience, but rather some supernatural force in his head.
EVANGELINE: 25 to 40 years old, all ethnicities female-identifying. A volatile drunk with a bunch of pets. She can turn on a dime from affection to violence and back. She takes out her frustration in her marriage on her animals. An extraordinary story teller with a dark sense of humor.
RODERICK: 30 to 50 years old, all ethnicities male-identifying. A paranoid hypochondriac haunted by dark secrets in his past. An enigmatic intellectual whose demeanor is described as “alternately vivacious and sullen” with a “cadaverousness of complexion”. Guitar skills a plus.
TRISTAN: 20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities male-identifying. A young man still in love with the beautiful and recently deceased, Lenore. He feels responsible for her death and would do anything to be reunited with her. A poet disturbed.
ANNABEL: 20 to 30 years old, all ethnicities female-identifying. A beautiful aristocrat who just watched her date die at a hedonistic late-night masquerade party during a plague. After partying for 3 days straight, she’s desperately trying to make sense of the supernatural horror she just witnessed.
