Landmark Musical Theatre
Landmark Musical Theatre is proud to announce that it will produce and present Music Theatre International’s ALL TOGETHER NOW! A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre from November 12-15 at their new permanent home, Theatre 33 at 533 Sutter Street, San Francisco. This amazing benefit production is expected to be performed simultaneously by over 1500 theaters across the country and around the world. Landmark is licensed to present 12 performances of the production over four days.
Auditions for this show to benefit theaters finally returning to live performance after a long year-and-a-half lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic will be held at Landmark’s theatre on Thursday, September 2, from 7 PM to 11 PM, and Sunday, September 5, from 2 PM to 6 PM.
Although Landmark now pays all of its actors and staff at least minimum wage for their performances in its regular productions in accordance with California AB5, because this production is intended to be a benefit for the theatre company, all actors will be asked to perform on a volunteer basis without any base compensation. However, all actors and staff will share in 25% of the donations made by audience members during the performances.
The show is a marvelous revue of music from MTI’s catalog and includes music from shows such as Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver! and many more. It incorporates solo songs, duets and trios as well as several full-scale production numbers which will involve most or all of our ensemble. The full running list can be found on our audition registration pages.
Landmark actively promotes diversity in all of its productions (our next major production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, has a cast consisting of 50% actors of color as well as at least one actor who openly identifies as non-binary). We encourage actors of all ethnicities, nationalities and gender orientations to audition for our productions and we pledge to treat all actors regardless of their backgrounds equally and fairly.
Please join us if you can for this wonderful adventure, as we launch our new venue in San Francisco and bring live performances back to the Bay Area!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the impact of Covid-19 on our community, Landmark is strictly following all current health mandates, including requiring full vaccination to attend auditions and to be cast in the show, masking during rehearsals and performances except when actually rehearsing or performing, and encouraging social distancing as much as practical. Audiences must be vaccinated or present proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours, and must wear masks at all times indoors.
