READ CAREFULLY, BELOW:
This Nazi S.S. officer is the lead interrogator at a German P.O.W. camp in 1942 where he supervises the torture of american soldiers. As we will learn in the film, he is in fact an impostor–he is not even human but rather a time-traveling alien who has taken human form so he can move through history, obsessed with collecting automobiles of different eras. The actor will need to speak several separate sentences in German–so needs to be able to speak some basic German to sound authentic. A Nazi S.S. uniform will be provided along with a prop Luger pistol (no firearms training needed since it will be a dummy).
COMPENSATION: The actor will receive an $85.00 stipend, credit in the finished film, and a digital copy for their demo reel– also food & beverages will be provided the day of the shoot. This will be a short film-noir piece that I will be integrating into the latest episode of my Austin Public series “Video Anatomy” which also streams on YouTube.
ONCE CASTING IS COMPLETED–I WILL NEED TO MEET WITH ALL CAST MEMBERS APPROX. ONE WEEK BEFORE the shooting dates to do a walk-through of the location and discuss any questions or concerns about the shoot at that time (this should take about an hour).
It is 1962. A World War II veteran, Daniel, who was a P.O.W. in a German prison camp twenty years ago is plagued by flashbacks from his experience of being tortured and interrogated by a Nazi S.S. officer. The situation worsens when Daniel actually believes he sees the Nazi officer in the present, namely at a gas station one afternoon, and then later that night receives an inexplicable phone call from the Nazi asking Daniel to meet him in an abandoned parking lot that same night.
Daniel sets out, in his new 1962 Bel-Air coupe, armed with his WWII service pistol, to kill this Nazi and thereby even the score once and for all. . He drives to the lot where he encounters an unfamiliar man. Daniel then proceeds to discover that this man is actually not human but in reality a time-traveling alien who can alter his appearance and who moves through history, obsessed with collecting automobiles of different eras. At one-time this being posed as the Nazi colonel at the prison camp. He informs Daniel that he is only interested in his Bel-Air coupe, demanding that he give it to him or suffer the consequences.
Daniel ends up in a struggle to protect his life and his vehicle.
