A TUNA CHRISTMAS Sunday, September 13, 7:00 pm

A Tuna Christmas
a play by Ed Howard, Jaston Williams and Joe Sears.
Directed by Carlos Francisco Asse

The sequel to the rollicking Greater Tuna, even funnier still. The population of Tuna, Texas, is portrayed by two actors, changing costumes at breakneck speed as they retell the hilarious shenanigans of the iconic eccentric characters we grew to like so well in the original play. Now they are involved in the 15th annual Christmas Yard Display Contest, to see who will take away this year’s trophy that for the past 14 years has been awarded to Vera Carp. A side-splitting laughter filled show!

A Tuna Christmas is the second in a series of comedic plays, each set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, the “third-smallest” town in the state. The trilogy was written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard. The plays are at once an affectionate comment on small-town, Southern life and attitudes but also a withering satire of same. The plays are notable in that two men play the entire cast of over twenty eccentric characters of multiple genders and various ages.

Searching for 2 male character actors, age range 35-60. We welcome all ethnicities.
