Auditions:
March 14th at 11:15 am – 2 pm You do NOT have to sign up to attend, but it is appreciated. Auditions will consist of actors cold reading monologues from the script. NO PREPARED MONOLOGUES NEEDED! Resumes and headshots appreciated but not required. No assigned time slots. MUST be comfortable in underwear and sexual situations.

“Unmentionables” Auditions for Summer 2020 Fringe! “Unmentionables” is a collection of stories told by women and their connection to their most intimate garments beyond the male gaze. What is revealed through what is normally hidden?
This is for Fringe Summer 2020. Rehearsals will run through July, six performances for two weeks in mid-August.
Available roles:
Annabelle Beauregard: Fifty-Plus woman. Able to affect genteel Southern accent. Signature garment: A Black Full Slip
(Story theme: Annabelle welcomes the audience to relax and sit a spell as she weaves a tale of being a stripper in her younger days. Anabelle is aware of age and waning libido, but she’s still got it.)
Chloe: Femme or non-binary aged 18-24. Able to affect the voice and mannerisms of a seven-year-old child. Signature garment: Wonder Woman themed tank top and boxer shorts/boy shorts.
(Story theme: All she wants to be is Wonder Woman. Clothes don’t make you a boy or a girl, but Wonder Woman underwear do give her special powers.)
Robyn: Athletic/sporty (can be any sport, any physique) Woman aged 21-30. Signature garment: Sports Bra and boxer shorts.
(Story theme: How she fought off a sexual assault. Can be triggering)
Amy: Midwestern Pretty woman Aged 30-45. Signature garment: Pink bra and matching panties.
(Story theme: After years of being ignored by her husband and undervaluing herself and her femininity, Amy is ready to step out and see what she is made of, even if it is all in secret.)
