Open interviews will be held at The Riverside Hotel in Boise, July 30th. It will be by order of arrival. It begins at 1:30pm. Please bring a resume with you so we are better able to review our potential candidates, considering that we will not be requiring an application to be filled out.
A feature film is looking to fill the following paid positions for a production being shot in Boise and Eastern Oregon. Filming begins Aug. 15 and will proceed for 2 to 3 months.
1st and 2nd AD (Assistant Director)
The role of an assistant director on a film includes tracking daily progress against the filming production schedule, arranging logistics, preparing daily call sheets, checking cast and crew, and maintaining order on the set. They also have to take care of the health and safety of the crew.
Set decorators are storytellers. They create the background of the action, explaining the context, adding mood and visual interest as the drama unfolds. While prop masters deal with the placing of objects an actor holds, set decorators are concerned with the walls, floors, vehicles and furniture
PA’s (Production Assitants)
A Production Assistant, or Production Crew Assistant, serves on film, television or theater sets assisting the Producers and Directors of a production. Their main duties include printing and distributing scripts, relaying messages between crew members and running errands for Directors and Producers.
