Who we are:
A new production company of artistic endeavors for a variety of media including but not restricted to: Musical Theater, Drama, Cabaret, Dramatic Interactive social gatherings, dinner theater; while supporting up-and-coming talent through equitable salary, superior production design, and dynamic musical accompaniment.
What our goals are:
To create superior productions in the area of dramatic and musical arts while reimaging classic theatre with the intention to make works relevant to the modern day actor and theater goer.
For our debut production: We are putting the full production of Chess the Musical!
FLORENCE – strong belt voice (to E) Born in Hungary; has been brought up in America since 1956. She is clever, theatrical, touching, vivacious, volatile. Frederick’s chess “second.”
FREDDIE – Rock tenor (to C) An American chess champion. Arrogant and temperamental, but a genius; his chess playing revolutionary. We need to see his artistry along with his danger and his obsessiveness.
ANATOLY – Baritone (to G sharp) A Russian chess champion. He doesn’t seem a romantic hero at first, but becomes one through his personality. An intelligent, feeling, passionate man.
MOLOKOV – Bass (down to F sharp) Intellectually formidable. Seemingly a father figure to Florence. Anatoly’s chess “second.” An actor who sings well.
SVETLANA – strong belt voice.Anatoly’s wife. Domestic, wholesome, homey. A dramatic contrast to Florence – not a contemporary cosmopolitan woman.
WALTER – Bass-Baritone (down to G sharp). A marketing agent. Seemingly respectable, substantial, trustworthy. An actor who sings well.
ARBITER – rock high baritone (up to A). International businessperson. Smooth, but with a quick temper.
GREGORY VASSY – Hungarian. Vocal range: low A to high G. Gregor is the father of Florence
ENSEMBLE – All Ages 18 and up; all vocal ranges. Some ensemble members will be required to have strong dance experience.
All actors MUST be fully vaccinated prior to casting.
Stipends range from:
$200 For Ensemble
$250 for Understudy/Ensemble plus 2 understudy runs and $50 extra for every other show you go on
$300 for Support
S650 for Leads
First Rehearsal: January 4, 2022
Opening Night: March 25, 2022
Closing Night: April 10, 2022
