Disabled man – Age 25-45. 5’10”- 5’11” No beard, but badly shaven. Broken looking. On the thin side, but not “skinny”. The disabled man is confined to a wheelchair. He lives his days in total isolation. When he learns of a miraculous tree that heals the physically handicapped, he finds his cynical worldview threatened. A few words to sum him up: bitter, broken, and cynical. **NOTE: The character WILL have to walk within the film.** LEAD
The Priest – Age 50-85. 5’8”- 5’11” Very thin, long fingers, skinny arms, lined face, white hair, (could be balding), clean-shaven, lined but not broken. European accent (German, Hungarian). The Priest is an enigmatic miracle that travels from town to town giving guidance to the downtrodden. When he pays a cynical disabled man a visit, he finds his faith tested. SUPPORTING
