Sacramento Sketch Comedy Group Holding Auditions for New Cast Members!
We are a well-established Sacramento-area Sketch Comedy group, (over 8 years!) looking to add even more talent to our cast for our upcoming live sketch comedy shows!
We will be holding auditions on Saturday, June 18th for our next shows on August 19th and 20th, 2022 (6pm-8pm) at the Fourth Wall Theater in Sacramento. 5051 47th Avenue, Sacramento CA, 95824.
We are looking to add positive, team-oriented and responsible performers with a creative open-mindedness and the ability to memorize character lines. Applicants should have some stage, improv comedy or general performance experience, but our cast is composed of a wide range of talented people from varying backgrounds and with different levels of prior comedy/ performance experience, so if even you don’t necessarily have an extensive resume, feel free to come audition if you think it is something you’d like to try. You might just surprise yourself (and us!)
Our group will be putting on shows approximately four times per year, and we perform at our “home” theater, The Fourth Wall (part of the DDSO School) as well as at the Comedy Spot in downtown Sacramento from time to time.
Our rehearsals for the shows will be held on Thursday nights for this round of shows, and we ask that you be available for Thursday night rehearsals each week (usually from 7pm-9pm) leading up to our show dates.
However, we are also looking to add cast members for shows beyond this next one in August, so even if you’re not available for the August shows, feel free to audition, and you could possibly be added to the cast for future shows.
NOTE: ** Theater rules require masks and proof of vaccination for the auditions and rehearsals (except for actual on-stage performance time). You can bring a screen shot of your vaccination card if you don’t want to bring your actual card.
