The Merrick Theatre & Center for the Arts will hold auditions for the Tony Award nominated best play, A Doll’s House, Part 2, by Lucas Hnath directed by Tarmo Kirsimae at the theatre as follows:
Tuesday, March 15th at 7:30 pm
Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 pm
At the turn of the nineteenth century Nora Helmer was the most controversial female character on stage in A Doll’s House by walking out on her husband and children to find herself. A Doll’s House, Part 2, picks up 15 years later and offers a speculative, tragicomedy follow-up to Henrik Ibsen’s defining 1879 masterpiece.
